Here you can see clearly that the session was going to be magical. The 2 year old sister was incredible. I don't think I had ever seen a kid that age behave as well as she did. Good natured and playful, yet eager to cooperate and help. And the sweet little newborn...what can I say....she stole my heart right away. These parents were so amazingly calm and kind given they just had a new baby and have a 2 year old also. It was a pleasure photographing their family and I have so much more to show from this session . Here is one of many.

The night before she decided she was going to fly - yes fly into our home when we let the cats in. She (we looked it up - six segmented body is a female) flew high above the kitchen wall...we caught it with a net and put it in a bug habitat...caught a few bugs for her to eat till the morning...so the kids can see her...then we let her go. here is a little monster at my door...she even tried to attack me..she jumped on my pants and wouldn't let go....needless to say I was freaked out and almost stomped her to death...but she seemed to have escaped my random leg strikes...

Winterpark-Snowing in the woods

Thanks to my borther and sister-in-law's very spontaneous airline ticket purchase and my sweet mom's willingness to join them and even ski for two days, we all ended up on a great family vacation in Winterpark, CO. Thanks to Chris' good college buddies we ended up in a gorgeous house in the woods. Thanks to Chris' parents we got picked up from the airport and had a car to drive to the mountains.Thanks to the weather we were able to ski and really enjoy it. Thanks to the kids' enthusiasm they were able to really take advantage of the ski school and were up on lift the very first day! and thanks to the beautiful floating flakes I got these amazingly sweet photos. We all missed Babajoon but were hoping he was smiling down on us and skiing right alongside of us. He was the one who made us all learn how to ski, even when we didn't want to! He loved the mountains and skiing. We love you.

There is always stunningly charming when you see a man with a dozen red roses. Then a woman, she has life written all over her face. In valentine spirit wearing a red sweat shirt underneath her jacket and wearing cross earings on Ash wednesday.

Sometimes the best times are had by just spending quality time with a couple of good friends. Turned 8 months ago. This was a belated present for him. Sleepover with his great friends. And yes Mommy was there. Just remember that she is always there. love you my sweet boy.
